Master's Degree in Physical Education and Sports

The Master's program in Physical Education and Sport trains specialist professionals who promote intervention programs in physical education, based on educational policies, theories, and pedagogical approaches. They design methodological proposals to solve problems in this field, using digital tools with creativity and innovation, based on research processes specific to their discipline, in order to improve the teaching of sports practice.


Applicant profile
  • Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills.
  • Solves problems using mathematical and logical reasoning.
  • Analyzes and interprets charts, graphs, and statistical data.
  • Proposes solutions to social, cultural, or environmental challenges, drawing on experience and theoretical foundations in the social sciences and humanities.
Graduate profile
  • Promotes intervention programs in physical education based on the analysis and reflection of educational policies, as well as their professional practice, to respond to various situations in the areas of intervention, demonstrating an ethically responsible attitude.
  • Designs methodological proposals that solve emerging problems in the field of sports sciences, demonstrating critical and innovative capacity.
  • Develops research projects in the field of physical education and sport to analyze problematic situations and propose alternative solutions, in relation to a line of research, with ethics and social responsibility.
Complementary skills

In accordance with university regulations, students must demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language (or, where applicable, their native language). This includes the ability to speak clearly, understand what they read and hear, and communicate effectively in writing.

Study hours:

  • The synchronous activities of the master's program are conducted via videoconferences, and take place at the following times:
  • Synchronous curriculum sessions: Wednesday and/or Thursday and/or Friday from 7:00 pm
  • Extracurricular tutoring sessions are held on Saturdays, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, or from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
