Master’s in Public Management

The Master's Degree in Public Management is a high specialization in the management of state resources, aimed at enhancing the capabilities and achieving the student's competencies to perform in public sector entities, identifying priority problems of society, optimizing public resources through results-based management, in addition to knowing the organization, structure, operation and tools in the modernization not only of the State, but also in health entities, the Armed Forces, the Police, firefighters, the postal service, among others.

  • Demonstrates verbal aptitude for effective communication.
  • Solves problems by applying logical and mathematical reasoning.
  • Analyzes and interprets graphs and statistical data.
  • Proposes solutions to social, cultural, or environmental problems, considering their experience and professional theoretical knowledge in the field of business sciences.

  • Analyzes administrative and functional systems of the public sector to identify opportunities for improvement in public institutional management, with ethics and social responsibility.
  • Evaluates public policies at the institutional level to contribute to strengthening public governance through critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Conducts research in the field of public management to establish strategies and propose innovative policies that improve institutional processes in the public sector, with ethics and social responsibility.
Complementary Competencies

According to university regulations, students must demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language, which may be replaced by their native language. In this regard, they must speak accurately, understand what they read, comprehend spoken messages, and communicate effectively in writing.

Study schedules: night

  • The synchronous activities of the master's degree are carried out through videoconferences, they are carried out at the following times:
  • Synchronous curricular sessions: Wednesdays and/or Thursdays and/or Fridays from 7:00 pm.
  • Extracurricular counseling sessions are held on Saturdays, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, or from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
