We began activities in 2013 with two careers: Administration and Industrial Engineering, in the district of Pacasmayo. In 2016, we moved to the Chepén district, at kilometer 695 of the North Pan-American Highway.

In 2017 we added two study programs: Accounting and Law. In 2018, 5 laboratories were built, both for industrial processes and computing. Subsequently, in 2019, Sunedu granted institutional licensing for the 12 campuses, including Chepén, with which the UCV became the largest university institution in Peru to receive this type of recognition. 

The Chepén campus continues to strive to train highly competitive professionals. The acquisition in 2021 of a 21 thousand square meter plot of land ensures a strategic space for the physical expansion of new classrooms and service offices. Once again, the goals and objectives of the university continue to focus on the generation of knowledge with values that contribute to social development and allow students to integrate into the local and national community, through shared commitment to the business sector as a reference. innovative.
