We began operations in 2003 with 7 undergraduate professional schools: Administration, Architecture, Communication Sciences, Accounting, Law, Systems Engineering and Psychology. The first students then reached only 295, today they add up to a total of 9,128. In this way, we continue in Chimbote the difficult challenge of the UCV of being one of the most decentralized in the country, expanding the vocational and vocational training opportunities of one of the largest and most thriving towns on the coast of Áncash.

Currently, we have a total of 18 undergraduate professional schools, 6 master's degrees and 1 doctorate. We have implemented 19 laboratories and 2 first generation workshops. We have ISO 9001,21001, 45001 certifications and 17 Renacyt teachers. We have signed more than 100 inter-institutional agreements.

We have been in Chimbote for 22 years and we have trained more than 11 thousand successful professionals, 98% of whom work in the best companies in the country, which constitutes an important response to the academic value imparted.
