Master's Degree in Mental Health

The Master's Degree in Mental Health is designed to train professionals capable of comprehensively addressing the challenges that affect the psychological well-being of the population. The program combines advanced knowledge in diagnosis, prevention and intervention, integrating clinical, community and social approaches.

  • Demonstrates verbal aptitude for effective communication.
  • Solve problems by applying his mathematical logical reasoning.
  • Analyze and interpret graphics and statistical data.
  • He proposes solutions to social, cultural or environmental problems, considering his experience and professional theoretical knowledge in the area of health.
Graduate profile
  • Implements effective mental health strategies to promote well-being and adequate treatment in individual and community contexts, focusing on personalized attention, the use of validated intervention approaches, and respecting the cultural and social dynamics of the environment.
  • It manages mental health policies and programs to contribute to the design and evaluation of initiatives that respond to social demands and promote equity in mental health, considering diversity in affected populations, with a focus on the sustainability and accessibility of programs.
  • It develops applied research in mental health to generate knowledge, implement strategies and manage policies and programs in the prevention and treatment of mental health problems, with ethics and social responsibility.
Complementary skills

According to university regulations, the student must prove the mastery of a foreign language, which can be replaced by his native language. In that sense, you must speak properly, understand what you read, understand the messages you hear and communicate properly in writing.

Study schedules: night

  • The synchronous activities of the master's degree are carried out through videoconferences, they are carried out at the following times:
  • Synchronous curricular sessions: Wednesdays and/or Thursdays and/or Fridays from 7:00 pm.
  • Extracurricular counseling sessions are held on Saturdays, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, or from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
