Master's Degree in Public Health

The Master in Public Health strengthens the analytical and management capabilities of the professional, allowing him to address health challenges with a comprehensive, critical and evidence-based vision. It offers tools to design, implement and evaluate health policies and programs, considering social determinants, current regulations and diverse epidemiological contexts.

Graduate profile

Formulates intervention strategies in public health in order to address the health problems of the person and the population, based on epidemiological information and considering the biological, environmental, social and political determinants in health, with equity and justice.

Evaluates the development of public health strategies to propose improvement actions within the framework of the principles of justice and equity.

It develops research in the field of public health to formulate and evaluate health intervention strategies, proposing alternative solutions based on epidemiological information, with ethics and social responsibility.

Complementary skills

According to university regulations, the student must prove the mastery of a foreign language, which can be replaced by his native language. In that sense, you must speak properly, understand what you read, understand the messages you hear and communicate properly in writing.

Study hours:

The synchronous activities of the master's degree are carried out through videoconferences on Wednesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays from 7:00 p.m., while the extracurricular counseling sessions are held on Saturdays, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., or from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
