We began activities in 2000, with students from Administration, Accounting, Law, Education, Systems Engineering and Psychology. In 2019, we obtained institutional licensing from Sunedu, contributing to the greater growth and decentralization of the UCV. 

Currently, we have a 10-hectare campus, 32 laboratories, 4 workshops, 110 classrooms, a central library, 27 teaching rooms, 2 auditoriums and 5 buildings. In addition, we offer 17 undergraduate courses in the regular and SUBE modalities, as well as 8 postgraduate programs, 6 master's programs and 2 doctoral programs, for its 2,500 students who are part of the total of 22 thousand students enrolled in Piura, in the programs undergraduate, SUBE and postgraduate.
