"We belong to the place where we were born. We belong to the place where we spend much of our history, where important moments happen and where we forge our profession

César Acuña Peralta

Review

At the beginning of 2005, César Acuña Peralta and his work team decided to create one of the first private universities in the Peruvian Amazon. This is how the Tarapoto headquarters was born, in the San Martín region, on May 12, 2005 under the seal of the Plenary Session of the then National Assembly of Rectors, which decided to authorize the operation of the campus.

As of 2021, there were almost 7,000 students between undergraduate, SUBE and postgraduate, with quality teachers and infrastructure for Amazonian families. Currently, the Digital Manufacturing Laboratory has been created, with 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D scanners, virtual reality lenses, among others. We are the first campus to have an accredited FabLab.
