Master’s in English Language Teaching

The Master's Degree in English Language Didactics offers a solid theoretical and practical preparation to develop advanced skills in the design, implementation and evaluation of English teaching and learning processes in different educational contexts, promoting a critical, reflective and innovative vision of teaching practice, integrating the advances of applied linguistics, neuroeducation and educational technologies.

Profile of the entrant
  • Demonstrates assertiveness in communication and interaction.
  • Organizes and optimizes the execution of professional activities through appropriate strategies.
  • He possesses verbal and logical aptitude for the interpretation and solution of real-world problems.
  • Demonstrates adequate level of reading comprehension in the English language, level B2 according to the CEFR.
  • Learn basic aspects of research.
Graduate profile
  • Plan and direct the teaching and learning process of English as a foreign language, based on current theories, methods and technologies applied to education, that respond to global educational demands.
  • Design and develop educational resources using digital tools according to educational demands in diverse contexts with creativity and innovation to make the teaching and learning processes of the English language more effective.
  • It develops research in the field of English language teaching with the purpose of analyzing problematic situations and proposing alternative solutions, in accordance with a line of research and with an ethical and social responsibility approach.
Complementary skills

According to university regulations, the student must prove the mastery of a foreign language, which can be replaced by his native language. In that sense, you must speak properly, understand what you read, understand the messages you hear and communicate properly in writing.

Study hours: night

  • The synchronous activities of the master's program are conducted via videoconferences, and take place at the following times:
  • Synchronous curriculum sessions: Wednesday and/or Thursday and/or Friday from 7:00 pm
  • Extracurricular tutoring sessions are held on Saturdays, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, or from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
